Exporting your scanned rooms in 3D models is an easy process in Metaroom platform. Follow these simple steps to export your 3D models to a variety of industry-standard formats:
- Login to the Metaroom Platform via this link: https://studio.amrax.ai/
- Go to the “Projects” tab.
- Find the scanned space you want to export, and click the “Export” button.
- You can rename the 3D model on the pop-up field and select the export format from the drop-down menu. Once you select the needed export format, click “Export”.
- You will be redirected to the Export History page, where you can see the status of your exported 3D Model:
- In process: The 3D room model is prepared to be generated in the requested format but is not yet ready to be downloaded.
- Completed: The 3D room model is ready to be downloaded in the requested format.
- When the export status is “Completed”, click the “Download” button to download your 3D room model in the requested format to your device.
- Done! You can now import a 3D room model file into your CAD program and continue working on your project.
Important to remember
If your journey with the Metaroom began with the Metaroom platform, your account will initially be without any rooms available for export. To upload rooms to Metaroom platform, follow these steps:
- Scan rooms with Metaroom Scan App. Upon completing scanning with Metaroom Scan App, your 3D room model is automatically uploaded to Metaroom platform.
- Share scanned spaces. Already scanned spaces from colleagues can be shared from their accounts and opened in yours.
