To get the best 3D room model results, we recommend preparing the room before
you start scanning. Here are a few steps to help make sure your space is captured
accurately:

1. Close doors and windows in the room.
2. Open curtains and blinds.
3. Move objects apart to help the app detect them individually.
   

It’s also worth making sure your device lens is clean before you begin.

Important to know: if you need to scan a room with people present, don’t worry —
they won’t be captured. The Metaroom Scan App only recognizes geometry like
walls, doors, and furniture, and ignores people in the room.
